Yesterday, we attended the Southwest Minnesota Career Expo at Southwest Minnesota State University, where 1,200 sophomores and juniors from over a dozen area high schools explored local career possibilities. 💼 The event was sponsored by the Southwest Initiative Foundation and the Southwest Minnesota Workforce Development Board. We enjoyed sharing the varied opportunities within the manufacturing industry - Southwest Minnesota's fastest growing job sector! Over 500 students from 6 schools attended for an opportunity to explore career possibilities. 💼 We enjoyed sharing the many varied opportunities within the manufacturing and engineering industries.
