Descrição The Office to Monitor and Combat Human Trafficking seeks to end modern-day slavery by protecting victims, prosecuting traffickers, and instituting global policies to prevent trafficking. The office coordinates anti-trafficking efforts in the US and other countries. It works in conjunction with the Departments of Justice, Labor, Health and Human Services, and USAID. In addition to prevention and prosecution, the office also provides funds to return victims to their homes and help them reintegrate into society.
