We need to keep millions more kettles boiling, public services operating, washing machines spinning, showers running and more, so every drop is more precious than ever.
That means we need to think ahead but act now, using our expertise to build a new world of water. One where no drop is wasted, every pipe is fighting fit, and our natural environment is protected.

Thousands of schools, businesses, hospitals, pubs, leisure centres, farmers, window cleaners, manufacturers, local councils and more all need clean water to operate. Wildlife needs water to thrive, like our amazing indigenous otters, kingfishers, salmon, water voles, herons and countless more.
Our Vision 2050 sets out how we plan to be ready for our ever-changing world: from 2020 to 2025 we’re investing a record £11.5 billion to improve performance and outcomes for customers, reduce leaks, take care of rivers and accelerate the delivery of our turnaround plan. We’re busy future-proofing the network to keep loos flushing and taps flowing now and for the next 100 years.
