The company provides electronic payments solutions (EPS) services for federal, state, and local government entities, as well as utilities, colleges and universities, and commercial clients. Through its main subsidiary, Official Payments, the company processes more than 18 million transactions each year for payment of federal and state income taxes, business and property taxes, court fees and fines, and utility bills, among others. It handles more than $7 billion annually. Payments can be made online, over the phone, or at the point-of-sale. EPS accounts for more than 95% of the company's revenue.
