Accounts Payable Team Lead

Makati City

The Accounts Payable Lead is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments, maintaining strong financial controls, improving processes, and managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle for local and international payments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment processing across banking and payment platforms.
  • Reconcile invoices, payments, and bank transactions against financial records.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and support supplier onboarding compliance.
  • Handle supplier concerns, payment disputes, and statement reconciliations.
  • Monitor payment terms and identify opportunities to improve cash flow.
  • Support and guide the AP team, including expense and credit card administration.
  • Identify process improvements and drive automation initiatives within AP operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable Lead or Manager role.
  • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and AP best practices.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Xero, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
