Frontend Developer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior/Mid level Frontend Developer with 4-6+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering to lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in Next.js and modern frontend technologies, with a strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, state management, and scalable UI development.

This role requires a technical leader who can drive frontend engineering standards, mentor developers, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences and high-quality digital products.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and performant frontend applications using: Next.js, React

Define, implement, and enforce frontend architecture standards and best practices.

Build and maintain reusable UI components and scalable design systems.

Lead frontend performance optimization initiatives including:

Core Web Vitals optimization, Lazy loading, Code splitting, Caching strategies, Asset optimization

Drive technical decision-making around: State management, Routing architecture, Data-fetching strategies, Rendering approaches (SSR, SSG, ISR, CSR)

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver end-to-end product features.

Conduct in-depth code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards and code quality practices.

Mentor and support mid-level frontend engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

Optimize applications for responsiveness, accessibility, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.

Participate in sprint planning, technical design sessions, and Agile ceremonies.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable technical solutions.

Contribute to CI/CD workflows and frontend deployment processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Relevant frontend or cloud certifications are an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum of 4-6+ years’ professional experience in frontend software development.

Proven experience building and scaling production-grade web applications.

Experience leading frontend technical initiatives and mentoring developers.

Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
