Full Stack Engineer (JavaScript)

We are seeking a mid-senior software engineer with a strong background in security and TypeScript to join our team in Malaysia. You will design secure software solutions using TypeScript and modern identity protocols. Partnering with global teams, you will apply secure coding standards, utilize vulnerability detection tools and implement cryptographic techniques to protect data. Bring your technical expertise to build reliable and secure applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure software solutions using TypeScript
• Apply secure coding standards like OWASP and CWE throughout the software development lifecycle
• Utilize security software tools such as SAST, DAST and IAST for vulnerability detection and remediation
• Implement security best practices including identity management protocols and access controls
• Apply cryptographic techniques for data protection and secure communications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and deliver new features
• Conduct code reviews, perform testing and optimize application performance
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in security and automotive software

Requirements

• Experience level aligned to a senior capacity within software development
• Strong background in TypeScript and JavaScript development
• Hands-on experience with secure coding standards and frameworks such as OWASP and CWE
• Practical experience using security software tools for vulnerability detection
• Strong understanding of identity management protocols and access controls
• Demonstrated ability to apply cryptography principles for data protection in web applications
• Track record of success managing authentication, authorization and secure communications
• Clear communication skills with a history of success in problem-solving and collaborative teamwork

Nice to have

• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure including certificate management, encryption and digital signatures
• Background developing web applications with Angular alongside familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices
• Exposure to the automotive domain or automotive software standards like ISO 26262 and ISO 21434
