JAVA DEVELOPER / BACKEND DEVELOPER – MICROSERVICES & MODERN ARCHITECTURE

JOB DESCRIPTION

At Sigma Technology Systems in Gothenburg, we’re expanding our Java team and looking for developers who want to grow with us. Whether you call yourself a Java Developer, Backend Developer, or simply someone who loves building scalable systems – we want to meet you.

Your playground will include:

• Building backend solutions and microservices with Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus, OSGi)

• Working cloud-first across AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB) and Azure (AKS, CosmosDB)

• Designing robust integrations using REST, gRPC, Kafka

• Exploring both relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, RDS, CosmosDB

• Creating CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures

• Using modern monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, DataDog, Kibana, Splunk
