Senior Software Engineer (Java / Javascript / Vue.js)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Software Developer to become part of our team. In this position, you will contribute throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The ideal candidate possesses solid experience in Java and JavaScript, produces high-quality and maintainable code, and performs well in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take part in all stages of the SDLC, including requirement gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Create system workflows, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation to support development and implementation activities.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that follows established coding standards and best practices.
• Integrate various software modules and components into reliable, high-performing systems.
• Develop and carry out testing strategies to ensure software quality, stability, and performance.
• Maintain detailed documentation for system functionalities, improvements, and updates to support future scalability and maintenance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, enhance features, and optimize system performance.
• Track project progress, provide timely updates, and contribute to process and product improvements.
• Keep current with new technologies, tools, and industry developments to encourage innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in software development.
• Strong technical skills in Java and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software design principles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
