Great for a second/part-time job. This is my first recruiting job and I couldn't be happier! The schedule is very flexible, my manager is awesome, and great coworkers who help one another out. Remote position, so nice being able to work from home and minimize car gas expenses.
Contras
Hours can be limited some weeks, hourly pay could be better. No benefits since it's a part-time position, but those who move up to full-time do have benefits.

Complete lack of transparency and honesty
Very top heavy (many Directors and VPs) and leaders are protected at the expense of client facing employees who reap the negative consequences, client facing employees are laid off but the organization keeps their non-sales producing Directors and VPs
Leaders are disingenuous and will say one thing but do another behind your back
Leaders that have "been in the industry forever" and are not open to feedback or insights and are condescending when you have ideas even though business continues to decline
