As a fairly recent hire, I've been delighted to find myself surrounded by talented yet humble, hard-working, and extraordinarily friendly coworkers. People are genuinely nice, and I've never been part of a more transparent and open corporate culture. Leadership genuinely encourages growth and places a high value on continued learning and rewarding hard work. And of course the company offers the industry-standard perks - great benefits, fun team bonding opportunities like happy hours & picnics, etc. My favorite part about this company is that you can walk through the office on any given day at any time, and you'll get a sense of this intangible vibrancy and passion that is unique to EverString. Our leaders only hire the most passionate, driven people and it definitely shows.
Joining a new company can be daunting, and frankly, I was initially hesitant to accept the offer. I'm so relieved that my experience so far has been nothing short of stellar, and I can say with confidence that I made the right decision.
Contras
As is the case with most startups, EverString has some growing pains to work out. There is a lot to accomplish with every role, in every department. I personally look at this as a challenge, and I love a good challenge! However, if you aren't ready and willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle the work, you will not thrive in this environment.
