This organization is composed of a mix of individuals from various backgrounds who work in a generalist manner to get company initiatives accomplished. There are no universally standardized (industry standard) practices in place for an organization operating in the software/consulting space. What does exist in this space, is the desire to get work done in an unreasonably acceptable amount of time which is determined 100% of the time by unattached delivery goals set exclusively by the business. These delivery goals are based entirely on the failure of the leadership team to push back (or to set any kind of limitation) or baselines on customer expectations. If a customer wants something, it is delivered to them, no questions asked with as minimal of a working timeline as possible. The inability to push back on customer demands leads to both delivery and quality issues on a consistent basis. As a mentoring/coaching platform, Insala falls short in that the solutions offered to their clients are not offered to internal employees, meaning if you don’t understand how the organization works (which is a mystery) you will not do well in the role for which you are hired. The entire organization (top to bottom) struggles with a high degree of micromanagement which is a result of the degree of distrust for fellow employees regardless of tenure, role, etc. If you find yourself at the intermediate stage in your career, this is not a good fit for you as the skills you will develop will be generalist in nature and only allow an understanding of being successful in this organization alone. You will not develop useful work experiences in this environment that will sustain personal growth and development in similar, or other types of businesses.
