Biggest contra is the lack of decisions, especially if it comes to HR decisions like changing your contract. It's not only that you never get a decision, nobody seems to be capable to tell you who would even be in charge of it. Processes are intransparent and questions to HR usually remain unanswered. During the acquisition, we were told to become part of a "dynamic working environment", which is not the case. I experienced nothing but delay and bureaucracy. Regional managers are stripped off of any ability to make decisions on their own. They have zero budget responsibility, so they can't even make the most simple orders of office equipment without seeking permission.
The salary was okay, but not outstanding. Entry level positions are offered not enough compensation to attract any capable trainee. Incompetetive salaries result in high workload for remaining employees. Meetings with Australia HQ at 11pm were standard, due to 11 hour time delay from Munich->Sydney.
