Prós

Company culture has changed significantly for the better compared to how it was with pre-2017 management regime. Highest level of management seems to be sincere in trying to improve life-work balance and flexibility for employee's well being, career, and personal growth.

Contras

Still have some pockets of resistance by the old guards at middle management level, so quality of work environment may vary depending on the team. Team integration of acquired companies have also been extremely challenging. As with many other silicon valley based companies, diversity statistics may be misleading. The construct of any single team is usually not that diverse. Pay grade is decent but still far from comparable against major competitors' comp package.

- Great work culture, helpful colleagues, managers with real leadership qualities. - Quality over quantity is expected and appreciated. - Periodic recalibration of assignments and deadlines of individual engineers to keep the workloads realistic. - No risk averting behaviors which gives freehand for all engineers to explore new ideas to improve the design performance. - Management seems to fish out and raise engineers from all levels who move the needles. - Have enough infrastructure and resources to develop advanced products without pressuring the engineers. - Adopting AI is every aspect of work. So, engineers can adapt to future needs of the industry.

- Salary can be a bit higher.

I’ve had opportunities to expand my scope over time, collaborate with talented teams, and grow both technically and professionally. Leadership is generally supportive of innovation and encourages accountability. The company compensation and benefits are competitive for the industry, and there has been noticeable alignment between business performance and employee rewards.

Contras

Prioritization and communication could be more consistent across organizations. Continued improvement in transparency and decision-making clarity would be beneficial.
