Prós
-Most of the people I worked with were amazing: experienced, very sharp, hard-working, committed. -The work environment at headquarters and remote is excellent. -The pay was high for the role.
Contras
-CSAT was very low for good reason. The product is very old tech (even though in the Cloud) and no way to customize it, so users rely on Product to host and fulfill all needed features/processes. But it is extremely costly to move to a new ERP so users feel unhappy and stuck. -It was frustrating to work on a product with so much incapacitating tech debt. Some of the same, very important, strategic initiatives were continually starting and stopping, as the tech debt made the effort too high to tackle. -They put a few people in management over roles they have never performed themselves. It was difficult to respect a manager who didn't have experience in my role. A couple of key managers did not have integrity: dishonesty, blame-shifting. Several key, long-term employees left Plex for this reason.
