Prós
There is a passion for improving environmental policy decision making processes and other policy sectors that does make a difference for various populations and our world at large. In general the staff and the organization are entrepreneurial and inclusive to their approach to fulfilling the mission of the organization. The majority of the people are genuine and are more than colleagues...they become friends.
Contras
The senior leadership is not cohesive in execution and there is an attempt to make every decision by committee consensus that is not efficient. There is oppressive micro management in administrative areas, that again creates inefficient processes. The organizational will to establish policies and procedures to normalize routine transactions and provide proper internal controls and transparency does not exist.
