Constant pressure and leadership that feels disconnected from the real work. Despite high overheads and state backing, researchers receive almost no meaningful support, while management positions itself as if it is driving the results. The bureaucracy is heavy, guidance is scarce, and HR is ineffective. A culture of silence discourages speaking up about problems. Overall, it feels like an cool organisation viewing it from the outside, with many claimed resources on paper, but there is very little practical support in practice.
