Never ever join rakuten, if you dont have personal life than only join, here people will work minimum 12-15 hours with pressure. They doesn't follow agile, only for name sake agile but everything is Micromangenent and no Garuntee of making permanent after probationary period. hectic work, only good for freshers. No proper planning they don't know what is agile they thought only Story point and complete in 15 days. If not stretch and complete. U can't learn because of pressure and sudden change in priority. Take the offer from here they pay good but never ever join, Dont believe in words of HR and Consutensy. HR will force to write good feedback for every 2-3 bad feed back in glassdoor. lots of people who came from standard company feel like jail and no proper documentation and no proper requirements gathering, developer has to do all this and 6 days work will be asked to do in 2-3days. No cab but people should come by 8.30 Every Monday u should be present by 8.30 otherwise it ll be absent. HR will spoil you because no resources want to join here. Only name sake product company but work is like service based startup. They will keep track how much u will go for tea and even lunch. Manager will keep track of ur jira logs even if u logged more they thought u r not fast and bad work life balance. If they r paying more means work also double. This company not for settle down. If you want to face the hell than join here.

Rakuten Rewards has great life balance. Too bad the economy was getting rocked.

Contras

Don't really have any cons. I understand that the market's been hard so had to downsize the force, so that was kinda challenging. Hopefully AI will increase everyone's output.
