If you work on the company’s largest account, you have the opportunity to touch many projects, gain experience, and build network with large pharma company. You also have the opportunity to advance positions due to high turnover.

Contras

This is without a doubt, the most toxic work environment I have ever experienced. The success/financial stability lies in the health of one account. If you work on this account (particularly in PM or account), you are a slave. You are treated as nothing more than a workhorse, even though you are responsible for maintaining the company’s most important piece of business. There is absolutely no leadership, no expertise, no support, or transparency. Turnover is constant. Leadership only cares about nonsense politics and is solely focused on pitching, though they lose 90% of pitches they participate in. This company is bound for massive failure.

RFH has one of the strongest leadership teams of any agency I’ve worked at. They operate in true alignment, and even when there are internal differences, it never creates confusion or instability for the broader team. Leadership consistently respected personal boundaries and actively protected employee time off—something that’s often talked about but rarely enforced in agency settings. I experienced this firsthand during a major surgery and personal life event, where I felt genuinely supported and valued, even while away. The work can be demanding and clients are not always easy, but the culture makes you want to go above and beyond. There’s a level of trust, respect, and operational clarity that’s hard to find elsewhere. Compared to many other agencies, RFH stands out for how well its operations are run. It creates an environment where teams can focus on doing great work without unnecessary chaos.

Contras

Advancement can be challenging at times, particularly when it comes to promotions, which may feel less predictable depending on role and timing. The return-to-office policy has also impacted the broader talent pool. For those who are not geographically close to an office, it can limit long-term opportunities. In my case, it ultimately influenced my decision to leave, despite having a very positive experience overall and a strong desire to stay long-term.
