Prós
Team was great when it was small. Get to know your cube neighbors, they're all generally pretty good. Some hang out after work for fun.
Contras
Hiring of new people happens with no notice at all. Some new hires seem inappropriate for position they were hired for. Lots of college kids work here for internship/cooperative requirement, which is good (generally enthusiastic) and bad (limited knowledge base, no reason to "work with the long term future in mind"). Low pay; raises are mythical (from what I hear). Once you get hired, expect to stay at that title/level. Coworkers have been at same level for five years. Confusing management (too much management?) How many Vice Presidents of Random Category and Chief Scientific Something Something do we need? General vibe is a startup company that's been in startup mode for ~10 years.
