We are sorry you have a poor view of Rising! It can be difficult to understand why decisions are made when you don't have all the information, but we assure you that each and every termination, disciplinary issue, promotion, and hire is run through a very strict filter to ensure that the action is warranted and in the best interest of the company and its employees. We truly value our employees’ opinions and give them the opportunity to anonymously speak up during our quarterly survey. Rising reviews every comment and takes them deeply into consideration. We thank you for the feedback and wish you the best! FROM CEO (Jason Beans) I am sorry your experience was that way. The number one factor in someone's happiness and success at work is their direct manager. You obviously did not click, and did not feel you were treated properly. For that, I am truly sorry. Without knowing more, I cannot address a lot of your details. I can address what we try to do overall to make our leadership and culture better as we grow. With rapid growth and opportunities, a downside can be having less experienced leaders in some roles. We have systemically tried to address this by running two leadership development programs focused on "Smart" skills. One is our Leadership Development (I know - creative name). This involves a private coach for 6 months, and peer mentoring) and Team LEO, an internally run program for all new people in leadership roles. It focuses on strengths based management, situational leadership, how to make people feel safety/mattering/belonging, interviewing and hiring, one on one's, etc. The goal is to make sure everyone understands the Rising way and has a baseline for solid leadership. We are moving onto to more technical skills like financials, Lean Six Sigma, Analytics, SQL, etc. Everyone in the company is required to evolve and continue training in order to be eligible for reviews. We have a Rising University with thousands of courses, and full time instructors in some offices. We have online Risingpedia with office and operational policies and procedures so anyone can "self teach." We have a self-directed training budget for every employee. Do not get me wrong, we can do a LOT more with training and development and plan to. That, to me, is never ending. We try to get a little better all the time. As with any training, some will be better than others at absorbing and applying the lessons. Everyone will have their own "flavor" of how to run their area. That is good. I want autonomy and ownership. That brings about the greatest innovation. By using Outcome based management (we set goals - did the leadership succeed or fail), individuals have the ability to manage and lead in a style that fits them and their team. One of the most frustrating parts of the role of CEO is the he said/she said. Most of the time, I will never know the exact full truth in most situations, and often times, there is a version of truth on both sides. I am very sorry you did not enjoy your experience here, but I hope you have founder greener pastures and a place where your passion can lead to personal success and happiness.

Phenomenal team of people to work with, who are always happy to help and give extra effort when situation calls for it.

Contras

None come to mind. Staying current with regulations and changing healthcare landscape can be frustrating, but that's nothing to do with the company itself.
