If you are a software engineer and want to have professional growth. Do NOT come to this company. They have the oldest tech stack, Java 6 + Swing. All the experienced senior developers left the company, and your job would be just fixing the existing application everyday. Also, not only do they have the lowest pay in the market, but also the longest working hours and the most toxic work environment. The CEO doesn’t care about his employees. Last year, when he started renovating the office, there was a lot of dust and debris in the air, but he wouldn’t let us work from home because he simply doesn’t trust his employees, and would just tell you it’s ok, the air in NYC is probably worse than the office. And the managers micromanage everyone, they won’t let anyone advance. When any issues occur, the manager will be the first one panicking and stressing out, which in turn stresses out the developers, creating a very stressful work environment. If you want to work long hours, with no opportunity for advancement, your individuality taken away from you, and extreme low pay and no benefits, then come to RiskVal. Otherwise, stay away.
