Prós
With the various programs (from Zero Waste to Watershed Restoration to Sustainable Ag and the Chesterhill Produce Auction and more) there is always a fun way to engage in the work. All staff I work with are fantastic and care about one another. You definitely feel like you're a part of something bigger than yourself.
Contras
Like many community development organizations, resources are always stretched thin. This can be stressful, even when you are invested in the work. Can take a long time to make decisions. There is sometimes tension between administrative staff and program staff.
