Prós

No set HOURS, really. Never have to meet your boss. Never have to deal with co-workers.Some flexibility.

Contras

Having to deal with customers in stores constantly asking where things are because they think you work there, some stores you can only do M-W, and some only W-F, which limits your flexiblity. May have a heavy load M-W and 1 store W-f. Supervisors are overstaffed and don't care much about your needs. SICK TIME IS BS! its very hard to use even though you can accumulate a lot. They put off letting you use it and saying you can work later in the week to make up for off time. You have to have a doctors note for more than 3 days off. They don't want you to use it. They want all the stores done.

Prós

This position allows some freedom with your time and schedule, just as long as all regular weekly assignments, and special assignments are completed in full and on time.

Contras

Being a Field Service Representative requires a Lot of physical activity for long periods of time. Not suggested if you have back issues, or have problems standing or lifting heavy items. Some items to be scanned will be on the top shelf, shoved way in the back that require extra effort to ensure proper data gets collected.
