The main advantage of working at Tangocode for a technical person is that you will experience lots of different technologies. I love to learn new things and making things with the latest technology is vital. As a developer, this is my top priority in any job.
It's a small software shop, so the effect of your work depends on you. There are no levels of bureaucracy; this makes it easy to cause an impact. If you are willing to work, there are no limits on what you can do. Management empowers workers to do as much as they want and can. Not putting limits on job titles. They are always buying books and courses to enable everyone to grow.
Last but not least, the environment is great. We are really like a family, we have lunch together and share stories with everyone from CEO to interns.
Tangocode is a great place to work.
Contras
The main disadvantage of Tangocode is one of the things that makes it good as well. As a small company many things are not going to be solved for you, so you need to be able to adapt and be proactive.
Moreover, change is part of the company, so if you are not used to it this may not be the company for you.
We are all learning here, we are prone to make mistakes. These occur on all levels (development, seniors, management) the good thing is to recover from the errors and learn the lessons. We share the agile principle that we are all doing the best we can with our best intentions.
