Passionate team committed to youth and equity across Baltimore - very cool. Diverse group of staff and volunteers. Culture of directness, lots of empathy. Committed to my personal growth.

Contras

Startup environment means operations can be messy and work can bleed into personal life if you don't draw boundaries. Goals can be overly aspirational which makes success hard. Leadership is still developing - high turnover of some strong leaders.

Prós

I think working here teaches painful lessons about setting boundaries at work. It is absolutely necessary nowadays.

Contras

- Working at Tread means sacrificing everything that matters to you. - The pressure is relentless, and employees are expected to survive crushing workloads while pretending to be happy. - There is absolutely no appreciation and almost no support from the arrogant leadership. - Management does not care about employees. - Leadership only wants to squeeze more and more out of people.
