Entrevista
For a company that purports to "care" so deeply about its employees and culture--my horrid interview process showed--this is all talk. After nine (yes, nine) interviews over three weeks, I “found out” I did not get this mid-level position when I saw the job reposted four days after my last interview. (When I finally emailed HR to confirm, I was rewarded with a form letter two weeks later) The mid-level employees that I interviewed with were great. Even my would-be direct managers were professional and kind. However, the highest-level interviewers were the absolute worst! There was a distinct “mean girl” quality in a two on one interview--as the interviewers clearly tried to trip me up on questions rather than get to know me (I get it--we wear pink on Wednesdays). This paled in comparison to the C-Suite interviewer who bumbled through questions about a position I wasn’t applying for--because he didn’t take the time to review my resume ahead of time. If I seemed confused it was because I had no idea what he was talking about or how it related to the position at hand. It is crystal clear this company has an insidious cultural issue of extreme elitism in its highest ranks. So, in short--don’t believe the hype, guard your time carefully, and don’t take their ridiculous cognitive test which, for me, ended up being nearly all fractions--for a marketing position??
