I had a similar experience in Texas. I was confident I would be given an offer before one of the people who interviewed me said if wasn't a group decision I would be offered the position that day, as this person & I would be working very closely together daily. Even though people are respectful and nice it would appear they do not trust their own in house recruiters. After the interviews was a very stressful time because they take a LONG time to say no.
