I remember there was a couple who needed assistance with the furniture aisle. No one on the floor could assist and I took the initiative to greet them and ask if there is anything that I can assist with. It turns out the couple is deaf and I didn't know much of sign language. So I grabbed my paper and pen to better communicate with the couple. I spent a good 15 minutes making phone calls on their behalf to set up home delivery, checking the members out, and updating them when I was able to get a hold of someone on the phone. Then they came back a week later thanking me but they had an issue with their product and I set up another drive to swap out the product. When the members are shopping, they come up to me sign languaging hello and I greet them as if they are celebrities, no different when I greet regular members.
