Unfortunately, I did not receive an interview. I applied online and was reached out to directly by the company via email. They told me that they would have a call with me the next week, but it never happened. I was still optimistic and very excited. I don't appreciate when people don't keep their word. That's very important in the business world and in life. You need trust. I don't care if you're a job seeker or the next business client, if you as a business can't keep your word, your'e no good. I followed up several times, just for them to pick another candidate. It was very disappointing to be ignored. Do you ignore your customers?? It's fine if you chose another candidate but it's not okay to ignore a few follow up emails. And it's not okay to promise someone that you will talk on the phone about the job and then you don't follow through. If you knew you weren't going to choose me to interview, why did it take you weeks to respond and say no? This company looks like they have great potential, but they were overwhelmed with just a small sample of resumes. Don't make a promise you can't keep. If the way they treated me is any insight into how they run the company, I wouldn't apply again and I honestly wouldn't do business with them.
