The recruiter was friendly, empathetic, and resourceful throughout the entire process. I went through a four-stage interview process spanning nearly two months (Feb – Mar 2026). Although the company approached the initial interviews with a strong sense of urgency, I was left waiting for three months (March – June 2026) after the final round, only to receive a generic email stating the role had been put on hold. When asked about my salary expectations, I inquired about their budget. They admitted they weren't sure yet and simply wanted to hear candidate numbers first. In hindsight, interviewing for a role without an approved budget was a clear sign of internal misalignment.

HR was nice, but only a week or 2 into the role and clearly had a limited understanding of the firm/market.
the next 2 rounds were so disconnected and interviewing with people who should not be running sales/growth, based on the energy and type of questions it was so clear they had no idea what they were looking for , what the role would even actually entail, and their position in the market. it's evident their DNA is not that of business building and scaling, but smart people who did the type of work in-house or worked as consultants, but never actually managed a business/team/know what good looks like from a selling standpoint, or how to attract senior talent. the interview itself wasn't hard, just frustrating and a waste of time/energy, they never hired anyone.
First a HR round will happen post that there will be technical round followed by salary negotiation.
HR round was good , technical round they’re themselves very unsure of what they’re building the interviewer seemed to be disinterested in the interview. Seems like they’re yet to find the right market fit. Probably the most clueless interview I’ve given in my life.
