The interview "process" is. joke. Please don't waste your time. I applied around late May and was contacted early June to interview. A zoom interview was set up pretty quickly and the initial interview went surprisingly well! I was told they were going to be "slow to respond" due to upcoming holiday and people in management being out of office but to "please expect to hear from someone regarding next steps in two weeks or so, but please be sure someone would be in touch." I followed up with a thank you email the day after my first interview, and even reached out again after the 2 weeks had come and gone (approx. early July) to express that I was still interested in the role and to see if the position was still open. I received no response to any emails and today, two weeks into a role at a company that actually followed up...I receive a generic email saying they would not be moving forward 2 MONTHS later.

It was fine. I spoke to an HR person, he was really nice and helpful. Spoke to the hiring manager, she seems perfectly nice. Then they sent me an automated rejection email. After making it through a couple steps in the interview process, I would have appreciated hearing directly from one of the people I spoke with.
