Initial interview was more standard but the on-site interview experience was very intense. The interviewers are not friendly and were more stern. The interview process involved an information session, a 30-minute interview in a career center, a personality assessment, and an all day, on-site interview which involved 3-4 interviews with top leadership, a tour, lunch with current district managers, and store tour. You could clearly tell the impersonal division between leadership and normal workers. Aldi itself has a great mission, but the culture was stiff and lacking.
