I first had a Skype interview which lasted approximately one hour. During this interview I listened to the director talk about himself and the school and was asked little to no questions. I was then invited for an in person interview in which I was asked to prepare two contrasting pieces to perform. In person however I was only asked to play one line of one piece on piano. I was also asked to sing as they were looking for a vocal teacher. I felt rather humiliated and intimidated by this as I was applying as a pianist and not a vocalist. This in person interview took 2 hours and I was put under pressure to sign a contract with them immediately.
