I applied online which consisted of personality questions, and 2 weeks later was called. In the call, I was asked if I could maintain good hygiene, cover up tattoos or piercings, and keep hair clean cut. (This was a Saturday) I was then told I could interview on Monday. I entered the theater and told guest services I had an interview. I was given a film crew binder holding all material on the job, it's expectations, and a brochure on the Stubs program. After reviewing that, I handed it back to an employee who led me upstairs, where I was greeted and taken to the manager's office. I gave him my resume and was asked what brought me to AMC. I was then asked if i was ever in a place where i went out of my way to help someone, a place with long lines, and a place that was dirty and what I did/ how it made me feel. We then talked about Stubs. I told him all I knew about it (be sure to memorize) and what I would say to a customer to sell them stubs, then to say what I would do if I came across a customer who didn't want a Stubs card. After that, we went over details of the job and I was allowed to ask questions. I was told offers/rejections would go out Thursday. I went in with my heart pounding (this was my first interview) and left calm and confident. Great atmosphere and great experience.
