Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. Fui entrevistado pela APOLLO Insurance (Vancouver, BC) em ago. de 2024
Entrevista
It was three round.
one HR
one tech
one CTO
only second round asked you to finish one coding test, there is online platform, and the level is easy.
It is about a dictionary sorting issue, like how you separate a list of words into different dictionary and sort them. Not hard, and everyone is friendly.

Entrevista
I had two interviews with the company.
The first was essentially a screening process, but it felt more like a casual conversation about the company and their need for this role to be VERY flexible. The HR representative mentioned that people were leaving because they expected one type of work but ended up doing something entirely different. She seemed to want to be transparent about the situation. Before the interview ended, she advised me to "research" the company to make sure I wanted to proceed further and asked me to send her an email with my decision. It felt odd, almost as if they were acknowledging the bad reviews online and wanted candidates to see them upfront. Instead of addressing internal issues, it seemed like they were just looking for people willing to accept their disorganized environment.
I decided to move forward with the second interview just to see how it would go. Unfortunately, it was with the same HR person, asking the same questions, but her attitude seemed different this time. In hindsight, it felt like a waste of time. I believe I was qualified for the role, but I regret saying yes to that second interview.
Not good, this company only hires people from two backgrounds. The manager was very rude as soon as the interview started and tried to end it within 10 minutes but the other interviewer joined the call later so he had to keep going but clearly he didn't want to hire me as soon as he saw me.
