I applied with ASML in Veldhoven, Netherlands through an online job board and got a call two days later from a ASML recruiter saying the hiring manager wanted to arrange a phone interview the following week. The phone interview with the hiring manager went very smoothly. The following week the hiring manager and I did a face to face interview in an offsite location that was convenient for both parties. At the face to face the hiring manager invited me to the last round of interviews, which was face to face with the Vice President of the business unit, again offsite at a location convenient for both parties. The following day I received an email from ASML saying that I got the position and an offer was being put together for me. Within a 2 days the offer letter was received and the contract came the following Monday. My experience with ASML was seamless and took just over 4 weeks from when I applied to when an offer was received. For an overseas hire this is extremely quick. Also ASML was extremely prompt and did everything they said they would when they said they would do it, if not sooner, which is VERY rare in today's business environment. Lastly, the reputation ASML has as a great company to work for is panning out to be true with how I have and am being treated. I can't wait to start the position in Veldhoven this summer.
