Two weeks before the interview I was given a set of mathematical and computational based questions to prepare for the interview. These were quite challenging. At the start of the interview I was asked to explain my solutions to the answers and these were corrected/confirmed by on of the three interviewers. They then proceeded to ask me general questions about nuclear fusion/fission and asked me to do some calculations on the whiteboard concerning fusion energy and the binding energy diagram. For the final technical part of the interview I was asked to derive an equation for a bucket filling with rainwater. Toward the end I was asked some general job interview questions/questions about my experience and CV. I was given the full set of worked solutions to the questions at the end.
