I was contacted by a recruiter multiple times over a 9 month period. Initial contact with Abbott was via a phone screening interview, I was then invited for an in person interview in Santa Clara with two managers. The position was involved working with the Japanese research division, though after discovering that I was also fluent in Mandarin I was apparently being considered for a Chinese research division as well.
