HR functioned poorly during the whole process. The process took 3 months in total, and HR barely replied to emails. Hiring manager and team members were nice. At the beginning, applied then nothing happened until almost 2 months past. 1st round with the hiring manager, mostly chatted about past research experience. Got put into an additional interview via Teams with one of the regional heads right before the final round. The company flew me into Chicago headquarters for the panel interviews - got to meet with several other team members. Most questions were around resume and past research. Overall, good experience meeting with the team, but communications within the company are in absolute chaos - they don't come to you even when they have further questions, they just rejected.

Initial phone interview was with the director discussing my background. Then I was brought on two weeks later to interview with 6 people including the director I spoke with on the phone. The questions were a mix between my background and economic concepts, however the interviewers spoke more about the background of the company and their roles. Something I gathered from speaking to the interviewers, it seems they can't retain talent. Their most senior analyst has only been there for 10 months. Also, a lack of consistency between skillsets.
