I was shopping at the mall, and a store recruiter came up to me. She complimented my appearance and said I would fit in great at the store. She gave me a recruiter card to fill out an application online and the next day I had an interview.

A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.
