Entrevista
I applied for the merchandise LDP program. The first step is the screening they do which is pre-recorded questions. Those questions are easy so make sure you prepare to get through the next round. They ask why your college, why your major, why merchandising, etc. Easy questions. It took me about 2.5 weeks to hear back from this interview so I followed up after about. a week and a half. HR reached out to me to schedule a second interview after that. The second interview is with an HR person who goes over more about the role and they asked a LOTT of questions. The interview was about 30 minutes long and they made it very comfortable. There is also a 3 interview if you pass the second round and then you get an offer.

What kind of roles are you applying too elsewhere? Tell me about yourself & your experience? Why did you end up at your school? Did you know you always wanted to go into merchandising? Name 2 trends that are in the current market and which one relates to Abercrombie and which one doesn’t? If you friends had two words to describe you what would they say? If your friends had two opportunities for growth what would they say? Are you open to relocation? Do you want a remote role / are you open to in the office? What were your favorite and least favorite classes in university? Tell me about a time where you worked with someone and it was a little bit difficult? What person are you when you work with the group?

Entrevista
Applied online then got an email asking me to complete a numerical reasoning assessment and an online interview (similar to HireVue). Then got invited to do two 30-minute back to back interviews about a week after that (one HR, one with a member on the team you apply for). A few hours after that I got a text and call from my HR representative inviting me to the final round of interviews, but I haven't completed that yet.

Pretty smooth with interviews, superdays, and assessment. You get a very comprehensive overview of the program as well as culture at Abercrombie and Fitch. They make sure to find the ideal candidate that would thrive in a place like AF and the Columbus OH in general.

It was pretty simple. You hustled click the link and make sure your camera and microphone are working. You only have one chance to record your answers. Other than that, you get asked 4-6 questions. Thirty seconds to read the question and two minutes to answer.
