I participated in the interview process at Aboitiz Data Innovation, which consisted of 5 stages: 1. Screening interview with the recruiter: This was a conversation to understand my background and fit for the role. They also explained about the nature of remote work and asked about my salary expectation. 2. Codility assessment (2 hours] 3. Technical interview (1.5 hours) : A live coding session with two of their Engineers. 4. Take-home assignment: I was asked to complete the remaining parts of the live coding session. 5. 30-minute discussion with a team lead Finally, there was supposed to be a discussion with the VP of Engineering. However, a sudden mismatch arose between my salary expectations and their budget for the role, which had not been communicated earlier. Shortly after, they decided to pause the hiring process for the position, and the final discussion was cancelled. This was a huge disappointment, as I had invested a significant amount of time and effort into their interview process, only for it to end unexpectedly without a clear resolution.
