Everyone in EMT class met with the Acadian recruiter towards the end of class. Got a call about 2 hrs after passing National Registry, asking me to come in for another interview. After the interview they sent me straight to a drug testing site, and I started working a few weeks later when my National and State registry applications went through.

Get on a call, get asked basic questions, clarify positions you’ll be working; pretty straightforward. Make sure your drivers license is at least a year and one month old. A good amount of time is spent describing how the company is set up, and they will provide accommodations for you to start orientation in Austin if you are in Texas.

Easy and laid back. As long as you don't have a serious criminal background or DUI(s) and current required certifications you'll get hired 99.9% of the time. Dress well like you would for any interview and the process should go smoothly as long as you're honest.
