After approaching the hiring manager, I was assigned a basic scout task. I presented it in the initial interview and was assured that I would get a yes or no that day or the following day. Unfortunately, this took for me to email the hiring manager twice to get a response from them almost 2 weeks later (most likely a no given the time). They finally responded saying no and that the interview process was already closed having chosen another candidate. The interview was straightforward, not very challenging with a basic intro to the company. The company was presented to be innovative but I struggled to see this. It seems like they're trying to ignite limited growth as a small pre-seed fund by diversifying the firm's services. Having spoken to previous employees, it seems employee growth is limited and this is highlighted by the way the firms implement their investment thesis. Accelerace is a 'fine' company to work for when in Copenhagen but if you want to grow and to work for a bigger VC fund to do bigger things in the world, Accelerace is a small fish in a very very large pond.
