Entrevista
The process included 2 rounds of interviewing (excluding the initial phone screening by the recruiter). Made it to the last round but I was told they chose someone else. Disappointing for various reasons: 1. they didn't even have the courtesy of sharing their decision by phone, after travelling for the interview to the HQ. They sent an email. 2. They didn't provide specific feedback. 3. I learned later on that the process was just for show: an acquaintance of the hiring manager got the job. The lack of respect for people's time - not just for travelling there but for the preparation that goes into interviewing - put me off from ever wanting to apply again. Might be different in technical departments where it's (hopefully) less relevant if you are friends with the hiring manager as long as you have the skills they need. New company but seemingly old-school culture that thrives on Vitamin B.

The general ones: about the 5-year foresight; how I'd tackle certain scenarios in my role; the salary question (btw: they pay well, so don't sell yourself short) etc.
Ich hatte ein telefonisches Vorstellungsgespräch mit einer HR Mitarbeiterin einer dezentralen Personalabteilung in Polen. Die Gesprächsführung war sehr oberflächlich und es war nicht nachvollziehbar, wie auf dieser Basis zwischen Kandidaten gewählt werden kann. Zudem gab es auch durchgängig Missverständnisse aufgrund der Sprache (Interview in Englisch) und gestellte Fragen am Ende wurden nicht ansatzweise entsprechend der Fragestellung beantwortet. Nach Wochen des Wartens gab es eine Nachfrage meinerseits, woraufhin mir mitgeteilt wurde, dass man "zwischenparkiert" und zwischenzeitlich mit anderen Kandidaten fortgefahren wurde, aber die Chance besteht, zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt Beachtung zu finden falls die anderen Kandidaten doch nicht geeignet sein sollten. Entspricht leider nicht meiner Vorstellung einer professionellen Kommunikation sowie Respekts gegenüber dem Bewerbungskandidaten. Daher zog ich die Bewerbung zurück.
