I felt jerked along and could tell they had already decided on hiring someone before the final interview. They told me I did "AMAZINGLY" well and no matter what happens to know that. On a phone call after, I was basically apologized to, and told there should be another position opening soon, but I never got a call back.

Brief telephone interview not focused on academics, but more about school culture... I felt that questions about being a team player meant that I was being asked to give up any hope for a work life balance right from the start.
