The hiring manager responded to my application email and invited me for an interview. I was given an outline of the discussion and asked to prepare a presentation for it, which was an interesting approach. I arrived to the interview with printed materials and did the presentation. It took about half an hour. The hiring manager was the only other person in the room. At the end of the presentation we had a chat about the industry and although she seemed pleased with my qualifications and told me she would be in touch for a second interview, the process didn't move forward.
