I went through several stages of casual interviews, and I received nothing but positive feedback from everyone I met. At this point, it was over a month in time invested with them and interviews, and I had a positive outlook on the interview process. I was then told to complete a Berke Assessment, which had completely unrelated topics to the role I was interviewing for. I learned I did not pass the assessment and I did not receive an offer. It was disappointing to learn that even though we had numerous positive interactions, the assessment completely outweighed those. I would have expected that if the assessment was this important for the hiring process, they would have asked me to complete it first before even going through a month of interviewing with several people. This was a very disappointed experience. Please take consideration of people's time as this was frustrating and my time could have been spent productively elsewhere. The team was very nice though.
