After completing a phone interview I was brought into the office to do a presentation and a final interview. The office itself is really outdated and all of the employees look depressed to be there. I did my presentation and a tour of the faculty, then was told I would hear back in 3-4 days on their decision. I didn’t get any communication from them until I personally reached out a few weeks later to ask for feedback. The HR rep seemed annoyed that I “didn’t get their email” (never sent, I checked), and that I was inquiring about the job. It’s a really tough job market out there right now, and communication is huge. Even if offered a position now, I wouldn’t take the role due to the lack of professionalism. Please take the time to actually tell individuals if they are being passed. We put in work to make materials or complete long assessments and we deserve to get five minutes of your time for an email saying thanks but we’re going in another direction.

Still going through the process but I'm very hopeful. I have read a lot of reviews and I'm trying not to get discouraged. However, I am big on training within a company and I do like to be able to go to supervisors for guidance when needed.
